Along with Dalsy, the Apiretal is one of the most used and extended children’s medicines used as an analgesic and antipyretic for children. Its formula is most common sales drops or with a dosing syringe that helps manage the exact amount of the drug based on the weight of each child. That is why it is necessary to know how to calculate the dose of Apiretal to suit each case, but should always follow medical advice and any questions should be referred to the pediatrician or specialist.


Instructions

Before explaining how Apiretal dose is calculated, remember that this is an analgesic drug that should always be administered under medical prescription. It is suitable for children between 3 and 32 kg and is administered orally.

It is important to note that the amount of Apiretal that we give each child treatment a go based on your weight and not their age, but the most common is to be administered to children between 0 and 10 years.

In order to calculate and obtain Apiretal dose, we know that the recommended dose of acetaminophen is 60 mg treatment kg treatment day over 6 shots, thus will be 15 mg treatment kg every 6 hours. Therefore, to calculate the exact dose, you will need to multiply 0.15 by the weight of the child.

For example, in the case of a baby 4 kg:

If Apiretal administration every 6 hours is not so effective as would be required, can anticipate lower doses every 4 hours then Apiretal administering 10 mg per kilogram body weight of the child. In this case, multiplication by 0.10 is the weight.
