The Trankimazin is a drug group tranquilizers (anxiolytics) that are prescribed to treat anxiety disorders such as generalized or associated with depression and anxiety with or without agoraphobia. Use of this drug is indicated for severe disorders and extreme stress. If your doctor has prescribed you this anxiolytic, we will remind you how to take Trankimazin responsibly and without risks to your health.


Regarding doses for the treatment of anxiety and anxiety associated with depression:

The starting dose of 0.25 mg to 0.5 mg three times a day. The usual dose is 0.5 mg to 4 mg per day maximum, in 3 or 4 intakes.

Trankimazin dose for the treatment of anxiety disorders:

To begin, a dose of 0.5 mg to 1 mg just before bedtime. Depending on how you treat the doctor will adjust medication. These adjustments will be made in increments of up to 1 mg every 3 or 4 days.

Beware discontinued Trankimazin abruptly, since being a drug that creates dependence Withdrawal symptoms may appear as headache, muscle pain, anxiety, tension, irritability, insomnia, vomiting, tremors, hallucinations among others.

It is advisable to take Trankimazin in the following cases:

If you are allergic to alprazolam, benzodiazepines or other components of Trankimazin. If you have breathing difficulties related or not to sleep. If you suffer from a disease that causes muscle weakness, such as myasthenia gravis. If you have liver problems. Do not use during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. And if you intend to become pregnant, talk to your doctor before taking Trankimazin. Not recommended for children under 18 or years. In patients over 65 years this medication more often affects young people, then the doctor may recommend a lower dose.

Take the tablet with some liquid and not chewed.
